Shift Status Icons are used to represent the current status of a shift. They will be represented by an icon on a shift block in your Schedule.

What does each Shift Status Icon mean?
Shift Status Icons in Settings
You can locate your Shift Status Icons in Schedule Xpress, by heading to Settings > Branch defaults > Shift Status Icons.
Selecting your Shift Status Icons
Inside of Shift Status Icons, you have the options to select an deselect the icons that you want to appear on your shift blocks in your Schedule.
To select, you can click the dropdown and checkmark each item that you want. To deselect, you can remove the checkmark.
Alternatively, you can deselect icons from the list by removing the associated checkmark.
What does each Shift Status Icon mean?
In this section, we're going to breakdown what each Shift Status Icon means.
Tentative
Tentative is a shift status that defines the shift as not certain or fixed. Using an example, this may be useful for Events where Users are unsure how many shifts are required to deal with demand.
A Tentative shift will show with a question mark icon.
Self-scheduling enabled
If you've put your shifts up for self-scheduling, then if the current date/time is still inside the parameters of the self-scheduling deadline, then the icon will show as a checkmark on a calendar.
Not self-scheduled after deadline
If a shift is not self-scheduled after the self-scheduling deadline has passed, then it will show as a calendar with an X on it.
Shift bidding enabled
If a shift bas been marked for Shift bidding, then it will show a gavel (mallet) icon.
No shift bids by deadline
The No shift bids by deadline will show as a gavel (mallet) with a 0 underneath it.
Shift bids received
The Shift bids received will show with the gavel (mallet) and a + sign.
Overtime
If a shift has gone into overtime, it will show with a red strip and dollar sign.
Billable Overtime / Billable Double Overtime
If a shift has Billable overtime, then it will show with a dollar sign. If a shift has Billable Double Overtime, then it will show with two dollar signs side by side.
Unbillable Overtime
If a shift has unbillable overtime, then it will show with as a dollar sign with a cross through it.
Drop
If a shift has been dropped by an employee, then it will mark as a person with an X.
Acknowledgement missed
If a shift acknowledgment has been missed by an employee, the icon will display as a thumbs up with an X in the middle.
Acknowledged
If a shift has been acknowledged by an employee, the icon will display as a thumbs up.
Confirmed
If a shift has been confirmed by an employee, the icon will display as a circle with a checkmark inside.
eClock shift alert generated
If an eClock alert has been generated for the shift, then the icon will show as a circle with an exclamation mark in it.
Unscheduled shift
If an employee has created an unscheduled shift, it will display with a pencil on paper icon on it.
