Don't forget to click Save.
Reordering widgets
You can reorder widgets by dragging them in the header column and dropping them into position.
Or alternatively, you can reorder the widgets by clicking the Widgets option and dragging them into position using the arrows.
What does each widget represent?
Let's break them down into more detail.
Schedule overview
The Schedule overview widget presents the schedule total hours, assigned shift hours and open shift hours.
The colors display on the bars will be categorized as Worked (light green), Not Worked (dark green) and Open shifts (red). This is labelled below the bars.
Hovering your cursor over a bar (date) in the widget will show a breakdown of the number of hours, shifts and people that this data represents for the Schedule total, Worked, Not Worked and Open shifts. Worked, Not Worked and Open will also present as a percentage of the Schedule total.
You can select and unselect Worked, Not Worked and Open to show only 1 or 2 of the options at once. In our example, we've chosen to removed Open shifts, and show Worked and Not Worked shifts.
You'll see that Open is greyed out due to being deselected.
Shifts not filled
You'll see shift's not filled percentage in the top-right corner. This is an indication to the user of how many of their shifts in this period went unfilled.
Late comers
The Late comers widget presents data based on any employees, and highlights the number of time the employee(s) have been more than 5 minutes late in the given period.
Billing vs Payroll
Based on your hours totals, pay rates and bill rates and any additions such as allowances, the Billing vs Payroll widget will break down the Total Billing cost, the Total Payroll cost, and the Difference between the two for the selected date range.
Hovering your cursor over a line (date) in the widget will show a breakdown of Billing for Standard and Overtime, Payroll for Regular and Overtime, and the Difference including a Profitability percentage.
Profitability
The Billing vs Payroll widget gives a percentage of your profitability based on the figures of your overall Billing and Payroll totals.
View in Time processing
You can also click the View in Time processing option, which will show you all the shifts relating to this widget in the Time Processing module.
Refreshing your Dashboard
To ensure you're fully updated, you can refresh you Dashboard at any time. This will recalculate any data that may have been recorded between your current and last refresh.
Hovering your cursor over the refresh button will give you a timestamp of when you last refreshed. So by ensuring you're up to date, you'll be sure that you've got the exact and current data that you need.
