Employees can check in and out of their shifts by using facial recognition.

Facial recognition is used for shift check-ins to enhance accuracy, security, and convenience. It helps eliminate buddy punching, ensures more accurate attendance tracking, and speeds up the check-in process for employees.

Setting up Facial Recognition

To use the facial recognition feature, please contact support to enable it before customizing it in Schedule Xpress.

"Once facial recognition has been enabled in your database, you can manage which sites require facial recognition check-in by going to the Settings section of any site under Manage sites. From there, check or uncheck the option labeled 'Employee must use facial recognition for eClock actions at this site.'

How employees use Facial Recognition to check in

If an employee is scheduled to work at a site that requires facial recognition for check-in, the Team Xpress app will prompt them to take a photo when they perform an eClock action—such as sliding to check in—to verify their identity.

If the photo taken matches the profile picture, the check will be successful. If not, the check will fail.

You can read more about this in Facial Recognition in Team Xpress.
