Attaching Documents to Shifts

You can attach documents to specific shifts to ensure employees receive important, shift-specific information

Shift-specific documents can be attached directly to the shift, allowing managers to include key information relevant to that particular shift.

You can attach shift-specific documents directly to the shift form. This enables managers to include key information at the shift level rather than the site level

Attaching a document to a shift

To attach a document, open the shift panel, navigate to Documents > Shift Documents, and click on 'Add Document'.

Note: After attaching the document(s), make sure to update the shifts and click the save icon to apply the changes.

You can attach shift-specific documents directly to the shift form. This enables managers to include key information at the shift level rather than the site level

From here, you can create a new document to attach to the shift.

You can also add shift documents in bulk by selecting all the relevant shifts, then navigating to Shift Tools > Update # Shifts, and selecting the Shift Documents field.

Shift Documents in Team Xpress

Shift Documents will present under the label Documents inside of a shift in Team Xpress.

The employee can click on Documents to view the documents attached to the shift.

Deleting documents from shifts

To delete a document from a shift, open it within the Shift Form, then click the pencil icon to edit.

Then click Delete Document to remove it.

You can also delete shift documents in bulk by selecting the desired shifts, navigating to Shift Tools > Update # Shifts , selecting the Shift Documents field, and then choosing the option to 'Delete all shift documents.'

Feature access for Shift Documents

Full admins can remove manager access to Shift Documents by setting their permissions to No Access or View only access within the appropriate feature access group.
