In this article, we'll cover the following feature updates for your Celayix platform:
Documents in Manage sites
Feature access for Documents
Bill by markup in Manage rates
Bug Fixes: April 2025
Documents in Manage sites
A new Documents feature allows users to upload and store important documents related to a site, making it easy to revisit key information whenever needed.
This is located in the site profile in Manage sites.
Adding a document
Click Add Document to create a new document.
You can click the dropdown arrow to view the contents of the document.
The pencil icon allows you to edit the document, while the trash can icon lets you delete it.
You can assign a title, set the effective and expiry dates, select the associated employee(s) or site(s), and apply one or more Tags to the document.
If you select an employee, the document will appear in the Documents section of their profile.
You can add the document details and use the formatting tools to customize it according to your needs.
You can highlight text and click the hyperlink option to add a hyperlink to the selected text.
You can right-click to copy an image, then right-click again to paste it into the Details section.
Attach file in Documents
You can click Attach file to add a file to the document. If you're unsure what qualifies, be sure to check the File upload guidelines located below the Details section.
Tags in Documents
You can use Tags to categorized documents. For example, you may list site incidents under a Site incidents tag.
Tags are built in Settings > Branch features > Tags.
Feature access for Documents
You can set levels of access to view Documents in Manage people or Manage sites, allowing or restricting users' ability to use this feature.
These adjustments can be made in the relevant feature access groups under Manage employees module and Manage sites module.
If you expand the Manage employee module or Manage sites module using the dropdown arrow (to the left), you can find Documents and toggle the pencil to choose No access, View only or Full access.
Bill by markup in Manage rates
You can now add markup bill rates if you have specific requirements for them.
Markup bill rates are calculated by adding a markup percentage or amount to the pay rate assigned to the shift.
In Manage rates, click Add bill rates and then Markup bill rates.
Note: Markup bill rates will only be visible if your setup permits. If you need assistance with this, please contact Celayix Support.
You need to choose the following:
The sites for which the markup billing applies.
The markup method (percentage or amount).
The markup percentage or amount for each rate type.
The effective date of the markup.
As long as a site's Bill rate rules for shifts at this site is set to Bill by markup, then the markup bill rate will present in the site profile.
EXAMPLE - Bill by markup
In the example below, the employee Brianna Lewis is paid $25.00 as an Armed Guard at the Downtown site.
The Downtown site has a 50% markup on regular rates.
As shown in the screenshot below:
$25.00 x 50% markup = $12.50
$25.00 (Brianna’s rate) + $12.50 (50% markup) = $37.50 standard bill rate for regular hours.
Bug Fixes: April 2025
