This article will inform of the newest updates to the Celayix platform in November 2024.

Time off settings

Your Time Off settings allow you to add an optional reason or comment when approving or declining requests, helping you communicate more effectively with employees.

You can leave a comment explaining why you approved or decline a request

Enabling Time off settings

To enable your Time Off settings, go to Settings > Branch Defaults > Time Off. Click 'Edit time off types' in the top-right corner, then set the flag to 'Yes' before saving.

Manager comment in Requests

When approving or declining a request, you can now leave a comment for the employee.

This is an example of a Manager's comment

The employee will be able to view this directly within the specific request in their Team Xpress app.

The employee will receive the Manager comment inside of their Time off request in Team Xpress

This will also be visible in their notifications panel.

It will also appear in the employees' Notifications panel in Team Xpress

Pay rate lookup in Manage rates

The new Pay rate lookup feature enables you to find rates associated with:

  • Employees

  • Customers

  • Sites

  • Services

Note: It also displays the pay rate rule applied at the site level.

Pay rate lookup allows users to search for pay rates in Manage rates in Schedule Xpress

Once you click 'Find rate,' the system will highlight any rates associated with your selections.

Clicking 'Find rate' will highlight any rates associated with the employee, customer, site and service you've chosen

Bug fixes

You can read the notable bug fixes through November 2024 below:

  • Fixed chat communication timestamps to ensure accuracy for recipients.

  • Adjusted QuickBooks billing export to utilize the service reference field.

  • Prevented the creation of blank shift templates and issue warnings.

  • Removed chat accounts for Admin and Celayix users.

  • Resolved Time processing glitch causing page jumps back to page 1.

  • Fixed shift grouping page crashes after validations during save.

  • Added an option for 'All' employee/user statuses to display in Manage people.
