The Shift form determines which fields are shown within the shift panel in Schedule Xpress.

Finding your Shift form

You can find your Shift from in two different places. The first is in your Settings in Schedule Xpress, under Branch defaults.

The Shift form is located in Branch default in Settings

Alternatively, you can access the Shift form in the shift panel in your Schedule.

You can also access the Shift form in the shift panel

Shift form

The Shift form is broken down into 4 sections:

  • General

  • Attendance

  • References

  • Shift tasks

Let's look at what each mean and how you can set them up.

General

The General section allows you to define the fields which are shown in the General section of the shift panel. You can select and deselect the fields you want to use when creating shifts in your Schedule.

Note: The fields that are greyed out are default fields which must be included in the shift panel.

These fields will present in the shift panel, as below.

Attendance

The Attendance section relates to the shift panel in Time Processing.

You can select any fields you wish to include and deselect any you don't want to include. They will appear in the Attendance section of the Time Processing shift panel, as below.

References

The References section allows you to choose the shift references you want to include in the shift panel.

In this example, we've selected a reference labelled as Sub-service.

The references selected will show in the References section of your shift panel.

If you've configured options to select within the reference, you can choose them to apply to the shift.

Shift tasks

The Shift tasks section allows you to define whether Shift tasks are enabled in your shift panel, and the Shift tasks visibility and order.

You can select the Shift tasks you want to be visible and use the arrow on the right-edge to re-order them.

Your Shift tasks will be located at the bottom of your shift panel.

For the Shift tasks you've chosen to make visible, you can select and apply these to any shift.
