Finding your Schedule in the Team Xpress app
Upon logging into your Team Xpress app, you’ll have access to your schedule and can view all shifts for the current week. Shifts for the current day will be highlighted in orange on the date.
Inside the Schedule section, you’ll see all the shifts you’re scheduled for, with basic details displayed. To view full shift details, simply click on each individual shift.
You can also scroll down to see future shifts, as far ahead as your company allows.
Slide to Check in
Once you've entered the shift, you'll be able to slide to check in if you're within your check-in parameters.
Check-in parameters are set by your supervisor or scheduler. If you're unsure how long before your shift the check-in slider will appear, please contact them for clarification.
Completed check-in
Once you've successfully checked in, you'll see a green banner that says, 'Your check-in has been recorded.'
Ensuring you're within the geofence for accurate check-ins and check-outs
When you slide to check in, a geofence may be active at your site location. This means you’ll need to be within the geofence radius to successfully check in.
You can click 'Map' to view your position and the geofence radius. Your location placemark will appear red until you're within the geofence, at which point it will turn green.
Inside the geofence radius
If you're inside the geofence radius, your placemark will show in green.
Outside the geofence radius
If you're not within your geofence radius, your placemark will show in red.
Refresh your location
If you're viewing the 'Map' to locate yourself within the geofence radius, you can press 'Refresh your location' to update and show your current position in real-time.
Location accuracy insufficient
If your location accuracy is insufficient, you'll have two options based on how your account is set up by your supervisor:
You won’t be able to check in.
You’ll be able to check in by accepting a statement confirming that your supervisor has granted permission.
Let’s take a look at how each option will display.
Cannot check in because your device is not within the geofence
If you cannot check in because you're outside the geofence, you'll see a banner on-screen saying, 'Device is not within the geofence.' You’ll need to move to ensure you're inside the designated area.
Allowed to check in even though the device is not within the geofence, based on supervisor authorization
If you're outside the geofence but your supervisor has given you permission to check in, you'll have the option to check a box labeled 'Confirm you have been authorized by your supervisor to proceed with this check-in.' Checking this box will allow you to successfully check-in.
