We are excited to share the latest updates to the Celayix platform, rolled out in December 2024 and January 2025. These updates are designed to improve functionality, enhance user experience, and ensure smoother workflows. Below, you'll find the details of the newest features and improvements.
Approved employee time off in schedule layout filter
You can now choose to display either all time off records (including approved, declined, and cancelled) or only those that have been approved.
You can configure this setting under Row header options > Show in the layout inside the filter configuration.
Note: Time off records will only be displayed in layouts where the Row Header is grouped by Employee ID and Employee Name fields.
Paid time off debit in schedule
The employee schedule view has always displayed approved time off hours. However, it will now also show paid time off based on the debit amount.
In many cases, an employee may be off for an entire 24 hours but will only be paid for a debit amount of 8 hours. Going forward, the schedule will reflect the debit amount, while still displaying the start and end times of the time off request.
As shown in the example below, even though the approved time off records span from 12am-12am, the debit amount is recorded as 8 hours per day. Additionally, you can see that the Paid time off in the weekly summary totals 16 hours (debit amount), rather than the full 48 hours (which represents the actual time off hours).
Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for Massachusetts (MA)
We are excited to announce that we now provide Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for our Massachusetts-based clients, offering an efficient and reliable solution to meet state-mandated requirements for home healthcare services. With the integration of EVV into your Celayix platform, you can now easily track, verify, and manage caregiver visits to ensure compliance, improve accuracy, and streamline operations.

We’ve made important updates to improve the user experience. Below are the notable bug fixes applied in December 2024 and January 2025:
Time Off Debit Amounts: Previously, debit amounts for time off were not auto-calculating as expected. This issue has now been resolved, ensuring that debit amounts are accurately calculated moving forward.
Time Xpress Chat Timestamp: There was an issue where timestamps for Time Xpress chat messages were displaying incorrectly. This has now been fixed, ensuring that timestamps are accurate and aligned with the actual message times.
