Two-factor authentication (2FA) can be used as an identity and access management security method for your Schedule Xpress. It adds an extra layer of security by generating a code from your device to enter after your password.

You will need to contact support to ensure that your account has access to enable 2FA.
Once this has been added to your account, you can enable your 2FA in the My Account section in Schedule Xpress. It is listed under Security.
Click Enable 2FA to start the process.
You'll need to install or open an existing authenticator app. Popular authenticators include:
Google Authenticator
Authy
Microsoft Authenticator
You can download these from your mobile phone app store.
Scan QR code
Once you've opened your authenticator app, click Scan QR code.
Once you click Scan QR code, you'll be presented with the option to scan a barcode using your authenticator app.
Note: Alternatively, you can click Type the code manually if your mobile phone camera is incapable of capturing the barcode.
In your authenticator app, you'll be presented with a one-time passcode as additional security when logging in to Schedule Xpress.
This will continually refresh to ensure you're presented with new codes.
You'll be asked to enter the current code to enable 2FA in Schedule Xpress.
Recovery key
You'll be presented with a recovery key, which you'll need to save to ensure you have access if you're having issues with your authenticator app.
Please ensure you save this in a safe place.
Click Finish to complete the process.
Generate new recovery key
If you've lost your old recovery key, please ensure you head to My Account > Security > Generate new recovery key.
Logging in to Schedule Xpress using 2FA
Once you've enabled 2FA, you'll be able to use it to log in to Schedule Xpress.
After entering your password, you'll be asked to enter a verification code from your authenticator app.
Once entered, you'll log in through the system as normal.
Can't log in? Use your recovery key!
If you're having difficulties accessing your authenticator app, you can click the Use your recovery key option.
If you've lost your recovery key, please head to Generate new recovery key.
You'll be able to enter your recovery key to gain access.
How to tell if a user has enabled 2FA
You can look in a user's profile to see if they're using 2FA or not. It will appear as 2FA is enabled or No 2FA added under their profile picture.
You can also remove the enabled 2FA by clicking the Delete 2FA option.
Disabling 2FA in Schedule Xpress
If you want to disable 2FA for your Schedule Xpress, head to My Account > Security and click Disable 2FA.
You'll need to click Confirm to complete the deactivation of 2FA.
