Updates to Schedule Xpress Mobile

Our development team has been working extremely hard to bring additional features to the Schedule Xpress Mobile app. Let's explore them now.

Important note: To ensure the below changes show, please update to the latest version of the app.

Edit shift site and service

The Schedule Xpress Mobile app will now allow you to adjust the site and service of a shift.

To do this, click on a shift in your schedule > Shift actions > Edit shift > Choose Site or Service to make a change.

You can select any other Site or Service. Once you select another, you'll be redirected back to the Edit shift page.

Press Save to make the change official.

Adjust check-in and check-out times

You can now adjust check-in and check-out times in Schedule Xpress Mobile.

To do this, click on a shift in your schedule > Shift actions > Edit shift > Choose a check-in time.

Once the check-in time is in place, you'll have the option to add the check-out time.

If the shift doesn't need to be checked out on the spot, you can press the Save button and return if it needs to be checked out at a later time.

Filtering by employee and shift status

The new update allows you to filter by employee in your schedule.

Click the filter option in the top-left of your schedule to find this option.

You'll see the option to select an Employees or Shift statuses filter.

Select the employee(s) or shift status that you want to filter by and press Done in the top-right corner.

Note: You can select more than one employee.

Press Done to apply the filter

Once you've pressed Done, ensure you then press Apply when you're redirected to the filters page.

You'll see all the shifts for the employee(s) you filtered for.

To remove the filter, ensure you head back to the filters section and select Reset all filters.

You'll notice the filter you've applied will contain the employees or shift status you selected

Change branch

If you have multiple branches, you can switch inside of Schedule Xpress Mobile.

Head to the My Account section, select the Change branch option, and choose the branch you want to be moved to.

Heartland Payroll Export

We're delighted to announce that current clients will now have the option to export a payroll file that can be imported into Heartland Payment Systems.

Bug fixes

You can read the notable bug fixes through July 2024 below:

  • Employee reference 2 doesn't display on the shift block when pasting a template until saved.

  • Can't add a new timesheet as receiving a Remote Procedure Failure.
