Unscheduled shifts give you the opportunity to create a shift at any time from within your Team Xpress app.
Note: The option to create an unscheduled shift will only show if you've been granted the access to do so.
How to create an unscheduled shift
You'll find the option to Create an unscheduled shift on your Dashboard. You can click it to Check-in to the shift.
Once you click Create an unscheduled shift, you'll be able to Slide to Check in to begin the shift.
Note: The shift will always be based on the Default Customer, Default Site and Default Service that your supervisor has selected in your profile. If the site has a geofence and you're not within it when you Create an unscheduled shift, you may not be able to Check-in. If you feel that your shift details are incorrect, please contact your supervisor and they will be able to help you.
Checking out of an unscheduled shift
Once an unscheduled shift has been created (Checked-in to), it will appear within the Schedule section of your Team Xpress app.
Note: You'll notice that your scheduled end time is 12:00 am. This will change to reflect your actual Check-out time when you Slide to Check out.
You can click on the shift and perform any clock action, including Slide to Check out when you finish working.
Once you Slide to Check out, your shift will be marked as Worked, and will reflect the time of Check-out.
