Bug Fixes and Improvements: April 2026
Kiosk - Scanner Enhancements
Celayix Time Kiosk now supports barcode scanning, making it faster and easier for employees to check in, check out, and start or end breaks. Instead of manually entering an employee ID on the keypad, employees can simply scan their QR code from Team Xpress.
The QR code can be found in Team Xpress by going to My Account > Profile and selecting View QR Code. This helps reduce entry errors, speeds up the clock-in process, and provides a smoother experience for teams using the kiosk.
Barcode Support
The Kiosk now supports clock actions using employee ID barcodes, making it easier for employees to clock in and out with a compatible barcode scanner. Existing employee ID cards may also be used if the barcode contains only the Schedule Xpress employee ID and the scanner supports that barcode format. For Team Xpress, the scanner must support Bluetooth, HID keyboard mode, QR codes, and an Enter key suffix.

Employee Profile Enhancements
Team Xpress now includes Employee ID display and QR code access directly within user profiles, making it easier for employees and managers to support kiosk and scanner-based workflows. This update helps streamline check-ins, identification, and on-site interactions by keeping key employee access details readily available in one convenient place.
Celayix API Performance Optimization
We’ve migrated our API from an edge-optimized setup to a regional architecture with CloudFront integration. This update improves performance, strengthens scalability, and provides a more reliable foundation for handling growing system demand.
Fixes and Improvements: April 2026
Manage People – Employee Pay Rates Columns Not Included in Excel Export
The Manage People Excel export has been updated to include all Employee Pay Rates columns, giving teams a more complete view of employee pay information outside the system. This enhancement ensures exported files now include key details such as Service, Effective Date, Rate, Last Updated By, and Last Updated On, along with employee Hire Date and the most recently updated pay rate timestamp. This allows organizations to review, audit, and share employee pay rate history more easily in Excel.
Manage People - Filters
We’ve improved the Manage People experience so applied filters now remain active when you open an employee profile, make edits, save, and return to the employee list. Previously, filters such as Department or Active could still appear selected after returning, but the full employee list would display until Apply was clicked again. With this update, the list correctly respects your selected filters, helping you continue working from the same filtered view without needing to reapply your criteria.
