Making an employee account Active

Find out two different methods making an employee's Team Xpress account Active on their behalf!

If you're a User in Schedule Xpress who is looking to create and make new employees' Team Xpress accounts Active, then this article is dedicated to showing you how you can do this right away.

You don't even need to send them an invitation!

In this article, we're going to look at the following methods to make new employee accounts Active right away:

Two simple methods

It's likely that there'll come a time when you'll want to use a quickfire way to get an employee Active as soon as possible. You can follow either of the two methods below to make that happen immediately.

Method 1 - Using your OWN email address

You can input your own email address when creating an account using Quick add multiple or Add employee.

If we choose Quick add multiple as an example, you can input your OWN email address during the process of creating an account, therefore sending the invite to yourself.

The invitation to join Team Xpress will arrive in your mailbox, including the Client ID and Username.

To finish off, you can create a new password on the employee's behalf, and choose account preferences. These can be changed inside of their Team Xpress account.

Once you've made the account Active, you'll need to change the email address associated with the account to the employee's personal email address, so that they can receive Celayix notifications. You can do this inside of their account in Manage people.

Once you've saved their email address, don't forget to send them their Client ID, Username and Password!

Method 2 - Using Reset password to make an account Active

When creating an account using Quick add multiple or Add employee, you have the option to Reset password after sending out the invite. This makes the invite link sent to email/SMS invalid immediately, and makes the account Active.

First, create the account and send an invitation to the employee's email address/SMS.

Once the invite is sent and the account is in Not active, invite sent status, you can head to the Accounts section of the employee's profile, and click Select an action under Update Team Xpress account.

Click Reset password.

Create a new password and Save.

You'll notice that the account is now Active. All that's left to do is to send the employee their Client ID, Username and Password - and remind them to set their preferences!
